Jennifer and Lane’s Hotel Drover wedding on the very last day of November was the perfect way to wrap up my 2024 wedding season! What a celebration it was – a total party from start to finish! My day kicked off with their Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony in Fort Worth at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
These two were surrounded by so much love – and a seriously impressive wedding party including twelve bridesmaids! I’ll be honest, I sometimes stress about large wedding parties due to logistics. More people usually means more time and organization. But Jenn and Lane’s crew was super helpful and chill, making my day a blast!
One of the things that I loved most about Jenn was her relaxed attitude about wedding party photos. She understood that with such a large group, a million posed combinations weren’t necessary. Her priority was capturing candid moments of their friends having fun throughout the day, which is exactly what I love to do! It also worked out perfectly with the timeline, letting everyone relax and really enjoy the celebration.
After the ceremony and family photos at the church, I hopped on a party bus with the wedding crew and headed to Hotel Drover in the Stockyards. Jenn and Lane skipped a first look, so with a few hours between the ceremony and reception, combined with the simplified wedding party photos, we had plenty of time for some relaxed photos with just the newlyweds. Lane is a total goofball, by the way – we were laughing the entire time!
Family and friends reconvened in the early evening for a cocktail hour before moving into Hotel Drover’s rustic-elegant barn reception space for dinner and dancing. And once the Royal Dukes band hit the stage, the dance floor stayed packed all night long!
If you’re searching for a Fort Worth wedding venue with western charm and a space for live music, Hotel Drover in the Stockyards is a must-see!
